Our venue in the Cheshire countryside provided the ideal backdrop for a laid-back yet elegant wedding filled with personality, great food and unforgettable moments. The Wedding

Ella and Mike chose Owen House Wedding Barn for its unique character, flexible spaces and relaxed atmosphere. Nestled in Mobberley, Cheshire, our venue offered the perfect balance of rustic charm and contemporary style, allowing the couple to truly make the space their own.

Their late-summer wedding made the most of everything Owen House has to offer from the open, light-filled barn to the welcoming outdoor spaces where guests could mingle and soak up the celebrations.

The Styling + Décor

The barn was beautifully decorated by The Flower Lounge, who transformed the space with elegant floral arrangements that complemented the rustic features of the venue. Their styling enhanced the natural character of Owen House while adding a soft, romantic feel that tied the whole day together.

From the ceremony space to the tables and finishing touches, the décor reflected Ella and Mike’s vision perfectly and showed just how versatile our venue can be.

The Bride + Groom Style

Ella looked stunning in her wedding dress from Wona Concept, a design that perfectly suited the relaxed yet refined atmosphere of the day. The gown added a modern, elegant touch that stood out beautifully against the rustic barn setting.

Mike wore a smart, stylish suit from Whitfield and Ward, completing the couple’s effortlessly polished look and perfectly complementing the overall style of their wedding.

The Ceremony + Celebration

The ceremony took place within the barn, where guests were welcomed into a warm and thoughtfully styled space that felt both intimate and celebratory. As the day flowed into the drinks reception and wedding breakfast, The Barn seamlessly transitioned into the perfect setting for relaxed dining, speeches and evening celebrations.

The late August date meant the couple and their guests could enjoy the best of summer, making the most of the venue’s indoor and outdoor areas throughout the day.

The Evening

As the evening reception got underway, the atmosphere completely transformed into a high-energy celebration filled with great music and non-stop dancing. This part of the day perfectly captured everything couples look for when choosing a wedding venue.

With the lights low and the music turned up, the dance floor quickly became the heart of the celebration. Guests packed in, drinks in hand as the music kept everyone dancing well into the night. The energy was infectious, creating the kind of wedding evening where no one wants to leave the dance floor.
